Remote Desktop Web Connection instructions
Remote Desktop Web Connection uses Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 and higher to connect to Windows 2000 servers with Terminal services installed.
In order to connect to these servers, the client needs rights to install a "Microsoft Remote Desktop ActiveX Control". This ActiveX control is from Microsoft, safe from viruses, is not harmful to the system and gets installed in a few seconds
1. Logon to the client machine with administrator or user with admin rights.
2. Open IE 6.0 SP1 or higher and go to www.g-holdings.com
3. Click on "Remote Desktop"
4. After a very brief delay, you should see an ActiveX screen which looks like the screen below

5. Select the check box at the bottom and click on "Yes". This will enable the "Connect" button on the web page that comes up next
6. Logoff Administrator or the user with Admin rights and logon to the regular user
7. Open IE again, go to www.g-holdings.com and then to "Remote Desktop"
8. The "Connect" button should be enabled and you should be able to connect to the Windows 2000 server
